An enlarged version of a clock found in WWII Army Air Corps planes, this clock features a distinctive black painted aluminum to reduce glare in the cockpit. The dial is a reproduction of an authentic altimeter that displayed a plane’s altitude in thousands of feet, while the hands were designed to be easily seen, even when descending rapidly from 30,000 feet.
